1. Casey Anthony: The Party Mom

On Friday, December 19, 2008, investigators identified the remains of 3-year-old Caylee Anthony. The cause of the child's death was listed in the autopsy report as "homicide by undetermined means." The outline of a heart-shaped sticker could be seen on the duct tape covering the mouth area of her skull.

In the preceding six months, Caylee's grandmother made repeated calls to 911, saying in one: "I found my daughter's car today and it smelled like there's been a dead body in the damn car."

In the meantime, when asked about her missing daughter, Casey Anthony told police she had not seen her daughter for 31 days. A seemingly carefree Casey was also photographed drinking, clubbing, and partying -- taking a page from the O.J. school of forensics.

It's impossible to discern the reason for Casey's smiles in the photographs taken after her daughter's "disappearance." From the looks of it, the 22 year-old mother was either too young and immature to understand the gravity of the situation ... or quite simply a sociopath.

Casey Anthony is currently in jail, arrested on first-degree murder charges with a trial slated for May 2011.

Another twist in the pretrial battle over evidence in the case of accused murder mom CASEY ANTHONY as lawyers reveal link to the NATALEE HOLLOWAY disappearance!

The defense team for Anthony will be allowed to search all Texas Equuserach records created during the groups search for Caylee Anthony in 2008.

As The ENQUIRER reported previously Texas Equuserach was also heavily involved in the hunt for missing student Natalee Holloway.

This is an old article published right after KC was indicted, but I just came across it today and don't remember reading it before, so I am sharing here.

Casey Anthony has finally been indicted for the first-degree murder of her daughter, Caylee Anthony. Casey is a sociopathic, superficial sensationalist. To a mental health professional, she fits the description of someone with an antisocial personality disorder - just a fancy name for "sociopath."

The disorder is recognizable by a lack of concern for others, as evidenced by her behavior after Caylee disappeared. She did not call 911 to report her daughter missing; that task was left to her mother, weeks after Caylee disappeared. While her daughter was missing, Casey was out ”clubbing”, buying lingerie and other sundry items for herself from Target, and cooking dinner for her boyfriend and his roommates.

Casey has consistently displayed contempt towards authority figures, masked by a thin veneer of civility. Listening to the police tapes, it is easy to see that Casey appears to be quite respectful to the police interviewers. She portrays herself during these interviews as one who has been wronged by a (fictitious) babysitter named Zanny, who, according to her story, kidnapped her beloved Caylee. Casey has been, according to her and to her family, maligned, misunderstood, and martyred.

In reality, Casey believes she is above the law. She presents herself as a mother who is only interested in finding her child. Yet she has done nothing but lie to the police and fabricate stories.

Unclear Cause Of Death Only One Similarity

WINTER PARK, Fla. -- Casey Anthony’s defense team renewed its attention this week on the fact that medical examiner Jan Garavaglia could not determine how Caylee Anthony died. However, the Anthony trial will not be the first high-profile murder case where the cause of death was unknown.

In the case of Scott Peterson, the trial ended with a death sentence. Like the case against Anthony, most of the evidence against Peterson was circumstantial.

Jurors believed the prosecution’s claims that Peterson killed his pregnant wife to regain his freedom.

It was months before investigators found the remains of Peterson’s wife, Laci Peterson, and her nearly full-term baby.

Prosecutors said Peterson was dating another woman while claiming to be concerned about his missing wife.

In the Anthony case, the prosecution maintains that she was out partying, enjoying her freedom from single motherhood.

There are more similarities between the two cases than I realized. I hope Casey was allowed to watch this report, so she could get a preview of her fate and realize the jurors aren't going to buy the garbage excuses that Mason and Baez come up with.
