2 Year Old Toddler raped @ Day Care

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – Police are investigating a sex assault case involving a 2-year-old girl who was allegedly raped at a daycare center in north Charlotte.
The incident occurred at Kids Inn Daycare on Old Potters Road located off the 4500 block of W. Sugar Creek Road.
An adult told police the toddler was sexually assaulted Tuesday, August 9.
The police report says the child was taken to Carolinas Medical Center where a rape kit was performed. The toddler was not hospitalized.
According to a spokesperson with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the rape suspect is a 12-year-old boy.
